Jim's Story

Life After a bout with alcoholism, and 2 divorces, I'm the parent on 2 fine teenage boys Jeff is 18, and a senior in High School, Adam is 16, and a spohomore. Both are great kids in every way, and I'm really proud of them. They are doing the teenage years so much better than I did. I hope I was able to teach them, if only by serving as a bad example. llege I went to school on the 10 year plan, finally getting my degree in Criminal Justice in May, 1982. Some of us are a little slower on the uptake. Military I went from high school directly to Parris Island, then To Camp Pendleton, California, then on to Vietnam for 13 months from October 1967 until November 1968. When I returned I was stationed at Camp Lejuene, NC. Other than a 6 month cruise of the Med, and 3 trips to the Caribbean, I was stationed there until my discharge in October 1972.

Raise the Jolly Roger.
The Jolly Roger is riding the bench today.
Mattie chillin' in the yard today.
Raise it!!! That one was a bit of a struggle, but, still, we had 'em all the way.
Raise the Jolly Roger(again).

It's probably too early to start mentioning young Mr. Cole for the Cy Young, though.
I had no idea that the Homestead Greys also sponsored a football team. I have no other information on the picture.

Raise it again. The Bucs take game 1 of the 4 game set, which has to get you to thinking about 3 out of 4.
Polanco had a nice night, didn't he?
Plenty of good seats are available at Marlins Park for the rest of the series.
