Jim's Story
Hi to the inquisitive,
Well let's see.
Happily married 37 years, 6 children, (hers, mine and ours), 16 G-children, 1 GG-daughter.
Drove gas tanker truck ('62-'67), San Gabriel P.D. ('68-'70), L.A. Co. Deputy ('70-'76), got out of Dodge in '76 moved to Paradise, Ca. The next 12 years was very diverse in the workforce for 6 years, and then saw an opportunity to get into the California Department of Corrections ('82-'84, '88-'07).
Basically 10 years of truck driving and 30 years of law enforcement and 5 years of much diversity (ha! ha!),but it did work out...thank you Lord...

egree' from the School of Hard Knocks. Looking back there were lots of blessings. If I had it to do over again, there might be a few things different, but for the most part it was good. I should write a book, you know! maybe I will, about the lives and stories of those I interacted with over the years.
Happily retired the 4th of July '07 (my Declaration of Independence)
We live on the beautiful north shore of Lake Camanche near Ione, CA, and are really enjoying this retirement thing. It's kind of hard to get used to. (ha! ha!) Yeah right!!!
