Jim's Story
After receiving BA from UofI, returned to teach English, Speech and Drama in ESL, first two years at Lincoln; then two years at ESide, where I replaced Our Miss Tucker (actually no one could ever replace that little woman or walk in her footstep, at least not me. And her feet were way too small!)
Then I moved to Chgo area and taught for 4 more yrs and finally said "Enough is Enough." Teachers aren't paid half as much as they deserve, so I moved into the fields of techical documentation and training. I loved the work but had gotten tired of the snowy winters and the humid summers of the midwest.

me said "Go West, Young Man" so that's exactly what I did, and since '92 San Diego is where you'll find me. Its weather is the closest to Heaven that you'll find here on here. The last time they saw snow was in '55 and that was a minor drizzle of snowflakes. The garden is in bloom all year long and my 6 orange trees are just too productive for one household. I'd gladly ship you all some oranges if it were so darn expensive these days.
In '97 I went into business for myself in medical billing. I love working from home and don't have to worry about the boss staring at the clock and telling me that I'm late again!
