Jim's Story
"Well. Joined the Navy after high school, four years of shear boredom., Was stationed in Key West Fla on a surveillance ship followed the Russian navy around the world collected radio transmissions and ran pickets off of Cuba doing the same thing.
Got transfered to Bayonne NJ in 1971, got out in June of 73, went to work for a power company PSE&G as pipe fitter/high pressure welder, Got married had a daughter, got divorced and married again,had a son, got divorced , got married again in 1997, this time got it right.,
Through the years I continued my education got my BA in Social Science, went to work for AT&T in 84, got involved in Labor management in the late 80's and worked in an organizational psychology group for five years as labor consultant working to bring unions and management together.
Took a package in 2003, worked in boys group home for a year for troubled youth, and about 6 years ago opened a wedding photography busine...Expand for more
ss, called Moments In Time. Last year had a bad break was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. I now live in Tucson Arizona and currently being treated, with a good chance of a liver resection in a month or so.
I reflect a lot about my high school days, as you well might imagine when faced with your own mortality . Really loved living in Vineland and growing up with the people I Attended school with.
Did spend sometime at a local high school in Flemiington Nj working with troubled youth and got a lot of satisfaction from it., The kids today have much harder than that of our generation. We had many more opportunities than they have today.
Well an abbreviated version of my life since high school, Would love to hear from any old friends.,
Well the years are rolling by they rockin evenly. I am older than I once was ,but younger than I use to be that's not unusual . After changes upon changes we are more or less the same.
