Jim's Story

I left Springfield for college (Bradley University) where I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering. I married while in school, worked full time and finished my degree part-time. I worked my way up to being the Chief Engineer at a small engineering company in Peoria. We moved to Saint Louis in 1983 where we have lived and worked ever since. Life has been good! We celebrated our 40th anniversary in February 2011. I love Saint Louis, especially the World Champ Cardinals! I have two great daughters, one a degreed RN and one that is studying architecture. I stay active doing ...Expand for more
a variety of projects, activities, etc. with friends. I still get to Springfield pretty regularly to visit my Mother (95 in 2011) at her apartment. She is amazing. I still enjoy sports, but no longer wrestle or play tennis. Now I mostly only participate in golf. I'm a little heavier than my High School wrestling weight, but stay in pretty good physical shape. In my mind, I really haven't change much other than I am not quite as quiet/shy as I was in High School. I still keep in touch with a few of our Southeast classmates, but I have missed most of our organized reunions.
