Jim's Story
My wife, Vicki and I have lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, for the past 43 years. We both retired from the Hawaii Department of Education (DOE). I was a counselor before becoming a technology teacher, district technology coordinator, and then state distance learning manager. After leaving the DOE, I worked as a Distance Learning Specialist encompassing ten of the Pacific entities. Now I¿m fully retired. We have two children. Our son, Fred, is married to Sonja. Fred works for the Forestry Services where he builds and maintains the hiking trails on Oahu. He is a great source of information if you are in Hawaii and love hiking. Our daughter, Sandy, is a Captain in the U.S. Air Force and is married to Randy who is a Major. Currently we have no grandchildren.
