Jim's Story
Life
After 60 years (and then some) I am still going strong! One of my favorite hobbies is officiating semi-pro, college, and high school varsity baseball. As long as I can still keep-up with these athletes, I will continue in this endeavor. I will not allow life to pass me by and believe that staying fit is the best way to accomplish that goal.

If I had it to do all over again, I would not have done it any differently. The thirteen months that I spent, in the Republic of South Viet Nam, really opened my eyes - in more ways than one! Yes, I would do it all over again but, I would never want any of my ch...Expand for more
ildren to be in a position to see what I saw while I was there.
I will, until the day that I die, never forget the friends that I lost while I was there. I will, until the day that I die, thank God for allowing me to return with all of my limbs intact. I will, until the day that I die, pray to God to help mankind (if he can...) to be able to "permanently" eliminate any future wars from ever gettting started. War is such a waste! And the people that fight the wars are nothing more than pawns of politicians. We did, however, win "our" piece of that war, when viewed from a soldier's perspective - regardless of what history will document and/or record.
