James Carter:  

Jim is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is married with DeEdra Merchant Carter of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, has four children, nine grandchildren, and a first great-grandson as of April 21st, 2023. His schools include Will Rogers High School, University of Tulsa, Oklahoma State University, University of Phoenix, US Army Industrial College of the Armed Forces, and US Air Force Air War College. Jim became a pilot during May and June of 1970, completed advanced training and worked as a professional pilot from 1972 thru 1974 in Oklahoma, Washington, and Southern Alaska, and piloted his own aircraft until July 2020 for business and pleasure as well as frequent missions for Veterans Airlift Command and Angel Flight South-central. Jim served in the US Air Force, Oklahoma and Washington Air National Guard as well as the Oklahoma Army National Guard.
