Jim's Story
Hi All,
Well, for anyone who cares (and I'm sure that's probably just limited to my own family), here's what I've been up to in the past 30 years.
After Brearley, and then Rutgers, I did a 3 year stint with Club Med as a Ski Instructor in the winter at Copper Moutain Colorado and a Sailing Instructor in the summer in the Bahamas and Cancun Mexico.
Since then I've had two careers. The first (from which I am now retired) was as a ships captain. (This kept me and my family moving about the East Coast and Carribbean every few...Expand for more
years). After that, I became an IT guy (Information technology). I know it seems totally unrelated but modern ships are very high tech so it's more related than it may appear.
In any case, I now work for a DC based Telecommunications company, but I do it remotely from my Utah mountain home.
I've been married for 20 years (not sure if I'm going to make it to 21) and I have 2 boys, ages 14 and 17.
