Jim's Story
Where to begin....
I gave Uncle Sam four years as an Air Force Medic in exchange for college assistance. I finished my associates, bachleors and masters before I said "enough".
I supported myself playing music early in my career. Had some success and a lot of fun. I have been writing original songs since 1977 and continue to send them off for publication. I have my own project recording studio, so that keeps my expenses in check.
I have worked in all kinds of professions in my life from emergency medical tech to commercial restaurant equipment repair to Marketing Administrator of a law firm. I've also owned/started a number of companies, some more successful than others, and have only one failure which happened during the early '80's oil bust.
I have been unbelievably blessed to find the love of my life, Lyn, and we will have been married 28 years this May 22nd. She is absolutely the smartest, funniest, most beautiful person God ever put on the face of this green earth. She made me a much better man than I was. She blessed me with one wonderful son, Matthew Johnson, he just turned 33. He was four when I met him and we got married when he was five.
Matt has a lovely wife Heather and they have blessed Lyn and me with a perfect granddaughter, Tatum Hester Johnson. She will turn 4 in May.

Lyn is the Vice President of Corporate Communications for Integris Health, she is over all fifteen hospitals in the system. Through her development of a community benefits program she has touched and improved thousands of lives over her 20 plus years there. She is the founder of the International Center for Humor and Health and has been a Keynote speaker all over the U.S. speaking on the benefits of Humor. She is absolutely phenominal and extremely FUNNY.
Matthew is an art teacher at Del City HS and has finsihed his Master's Degree in Secondary Education. He hopes to be a principal next fall. He is a fantastic artist and he sincerely cares about his students. He is wonderful son, a caring husband and a great dad. He really does make me proud.
I have been extremely blessed in my life and I often think back on all the fond memories I've been able to make with a lot of you. I hope this finds you all doing great and being blessed beyond belief with an abundance of happiness in your lives.
