Jim's Story

After getting out of the Air Force after 4 years ( 1 in the south, 2 England, 1 California ), I went back to the U of W, but after a while ended up just working there, in the Seismology Dept. as a technician, working on the equipment for the St Helens stuff for a few years,that eventually landed me in Tri-cities Supporting the seismic network in...Expand for more
Eastern Wash. for a year or so, then started at Wash State and finished my EE Deg.. Got a job back east with IBM in the development lab, and still here... Thinking to retire soon, and move back to the northwest somewhere, ( taxes here are killer ), possibly Montana or Oregon.. Married ( for the 2nd time ), no kids, just didn't happen..
