Jim's Story

Life My Spouse I met my spouse at work. We both worked for the same company in the same town doing the same type of work. My Children: We have 2 daughters, one is 31, and the other is 38. The youngest on has a boy & a girl and the oldest one has 2 girls. My Occupations: I served 21 years in the U.S. Navy. Aftering retiring from there I moved to Eureka, California and worked for the Sherrif's Department for several years. Then I went to work at a Saving & Loan Association as the General Services Manager for 15 years. Last but not least I leased a Unocal 76 Service Station and operated it for 6 years. Then on to HAPPY RETIREMENT. My Travels: I have visited all the States, except 7 in the Northeast, including 3 of the Hawaiian Islands....Expand for more
I did live in Hawaii for 4 years on the Island of Oahu. I have been to Tokyo & several other cities in, Japan, Also Hong Kong, Okinawa, The Philippine Islands, Viet Nam, Thailand, Taiwan and Laos. Have visited about 1/2 of Canada and parts of Mexico & also Bermuda. My Interests: I enjoy walking & Hiking, music, reading a good book, going to stage plays & performances. I Golf, play Tennis, Bocee Ball and Bowl. A romantic stroll on the beach in the evening time and boating. My Favorite Foods: My All-Time Favorite Food is Barbecued Pork Ribs, along with a real good Macaroni Salad. Most all Sea Food & Fish comes in second. A Good Rib Eye Steak and Prime Rib is a close third. Everything else is just food, except a fresh Peach Pie, with a scoop of Ice Cream.
