Jim's Story

Life I am now an actor, mostly for television, living in Vancouver. I've been divorced since 1988. My 3 grown children and 2 granddaughters also live in BC, as does my ex. During my married years, '68 to '88, I got a BA , went 'back to the land' in central BC, built my own house, worked on the railroad, etc. Finaly the call to...Expand for more
pursue acting became too strong, and my job life too dead-end and I went from amateur theatre to striking out to Edmonton where I lived for 12 years. I got a diploma in display design and got into prop design while advancing in TV acting. I did 3 episodes of North of 60 among other things and finally moved to Vancouver in '99.
