Jimmie's Story
Life
Air Force for 4 years after graduating in 64. Electrical contractor in Atlanta area until early 70's. Moved to Wyoming. Went to college and received my degree in Electrical Engineering with a 3.56 grade point average[graduated cum laude].Traveled all over the country since. Presently in Oregon[3yrs]. I am the Electrical Supervisor for an industrial plant that makes titanium [from beginning to final product-mostly aircraft related]. It is a fascinating job to say the least. Never ever boring. I wanted to be a NASCAR race car driver. A lot of people thought I was nuts[maybe I am], but I met that challenge in the late 60's for a couple of years in South Carolina and Ga. Didn't quite make the big time, but I've still been racing cars at the local level. I raced in Arizona, California, Georgia, South Carolina, and Oregon. I've raced all kinds of cars, from Dwarf Cars to late model outlaw cars. I'll never stop. I love it. Now my youngest son is getting started, so, soon I'll just be assisting him in his racing endeavor.
