Jimmy's Story
Wow! How time has flown by. I cant believe that it has been almost 30 years since we were in school together. Those days at DHS were great!
After DHS I went to paramedic school and began working at Pilcher Ambulance and the Dothan Fire Department. I got married...............then got divorced. I continued to work in EMS and began teaching paramedic rescue at Wallace College part- time. I got married again...............then I got divorced again. (see a pattern here?). Then after a few more years............I got married again..............then I became a father. What a day that was. The MD let me deliver my son into this world and we have been inseparable since.
Soon after that, I left Dothan and began working for a ER MD staf...Expand for more
fing company in Baton Rouge. That lasted 3 years and we moved back to Dothan. I worked at Flowers Hospital ER as the EMS Liason and Quality Assurance Director. Two years later it was back to school and I finished my nursing and EMS degree. During graduation I was approached by the CEO of Medical Center Enterprise and offered my current job of ER Director. I commute each day from Dothan to Enterprise.
I am happy where I am in my life today. 28 years ago I would never have believed how blessed I would be today.
I currently am living in Dothan with my wife Cherisa, my 17 year old step-daugher Lauren, and my 11 year old son Cade. I am looking forward to a 30 year reunion.
