Jimmy's Story
Life
It has been a very long time since I have been back to Atlanta. After graduation, I joined the Navy (I ran into John Castleberry in Germany - he was in the Army) and spent 20 years traveling around the World; with my final stop being where I currently live in Jacksonville, FL. I finally received my Bachelors degree after going to college off & on for over 7 years, with a B.S. in Business Admin and a minor in Management (I also have an Associate in Business Management).
I am now employed with the U.S. Dept of Labor. I have 5 kids (3 mine, 2 step; 4 girls 1 boy - 2 grown & gone!). During my school years at Carver, Reginald Blessett was my best friend and many of you may know my sister as Ms. Ga...Expand for more
ynelle, who ran the Rec Center behind Carver. What many of you may not know is that I came to Atlanta in 1974 to visit my sister (i'm actually from Cincinnati, OH); liked the ATL and decided to stay an attend H.S. at Carver which she graduated from in 1964 (Sylvan HS was the school in the area where we lived). I attended GWC from 1974 to 1977 and was in Ms. Thompson's homeroom).
Life is good with the family and I and only looks to be getting better (though as most of us can attest to, maybe 1 or 2 too many bills!)..
Anyway, post pic's so that I can try to remember everyone/anyone and hope to see you at the Reunion in a couple of weeks!
