Jimmy's Story
I have been married forty- eight years to Joy Strawbridge. We have three children ages 47,33
and 29 .I am an active Ole Miss Alumni as well as Louisiana Tech Alumni. Joy And I have a Construction and Roofing corporation that operates from New York, NY to San Antonio, Tx . It is in its 25 rd year of operation
It has given us the opportunity to along with God's blessing enjoy our travels, our family and, friends and life in general. Our youngest daughter Graduated at LaTech with a Master in Professional Accounting in four years with a 4.00 GPA IN AUGUST OF 2015.She was hired as an accountant immediately by Vantage Health and now works for HGC in Ruston, Louisiana We have vacation two to three weeks a year in Cancun, MX for the last 21 years because it is so relaxing and allows the mind to get recalculated. My son lives north of Birmingham, Al and has work with us for the last 22 years along with our middle age daughter who has worked with us when the mood strikes her. our arms. They do keep us on our toes, and we don't ever have to worry about quietness unless they are sleeping. They also keep us young and active so we took them to Cancun 2 times. They have already informed us they are wanting to go back this upcoming month of June. Joy has a facebook account that covers most of the experiences we are willing to share. We have a zoo with 8 horses,40 barn cats, two dogs a yorkie who has lived in the house for 16 before passing away in January of 2019, a black mouth cur who is outside and a 36" green winged macaw who also lives in the house. After graduation, I went into the Air Force at the age of 17 to serve while the Vietnam war was in progress. I will never regret going into the service and would advise anyone to do the same. I got my degree from the GI bill and bought my first home through the VA. I still have a majority of my family in the Amory area, and I am very proud of Mitch Moreland and Trent Harmon and wish them well on their endeavors as well as all the class of 1973.We have just recently Sept 0f 2019 got another Yorkie and named him Thor. He does not replace Cujo but he adds another joy to our life.
