Jl's Story
After graduation, I went off to SIU in Carbondale and studied Forestry. Graduated, no jobs, joined the Army, ended up in Colorado at Ft. Carson. Met the man I married (6 months later) and had our first child in 1977. Moved back this way and landed in Michigan, closer to my family. Raised a daughter and a son, was a stay at home mom for many years, then went back to school to become a computer progra...Expand for more
mmer. Worked in the freight industry as a programmer for a couple years and then started their helpdesk. Worked there for 10 years, quit, moved on to the appliance industry where I'm a Security Analyst and Engineer. Kids are grown on their own, husband and I like to travel the country on our Gold Wing for our vacations.
I'd say my life is more interesting now than it ever was when I was at Reavis!
