Jlynn's Story
Life
I am a widow, living in Houston, TX and working for a major pipeline company in Regulatory Compliance. I have one son who just turned 21 years old and attends university. I received my degree in Logistics and Transportation from the CITT through the University of Toronto.
I took up competitive dancing about 1 1/2 years ago as a form of exercise. I have danced with two of the professionals from Dancing With the Stars, Tony Dovalani and Jesse DeSoto at the end of July 2007. Both are really nice guys and are in no way divas. Enjoyed dancing and talking with both of them and boy, can they dance.
I am currently taking a sabbatical from dancing as I have had an operation on my foot and am not allowed to dance until after Christma...Expand for more

My husband was a Canadian and we had been married 33 years before he was diagnosed with leukemia. He was 2 weeks away from a bone marrow transplant when he fell out of remission.
I was transferred to Houston by my company 15 years ago and my husband knew he would be able to find a job in Houston so we packed up and left Canada. The company that transferred me closed up the office 10 years later and I was out of a job for the first time in my life.
I was hired by the company my husband was working for because of my knowledge of regulations and my ability to write procedural and regulatory manuals and I have been there every since.
My life is a pretty open book and life has certainly deposited me a long way from Port Huron, MI.
