Graduated from LSU in June, 1963, BS in Secondary Education (Business/English)
Married Fred Lewis in 1965. Two children, Joey & Ray Two daughters from Fred's previous marriage - Jeanie and Hope. (Fred died on July 7, 2010).
Worked at Dow Chemical for 27 years - started as secretary in Engineering Department and Pipeline Department. Became Dispatch Supervisor and Contract Administrator of Gulf Coast Pipeline Dept.. Big fan of LSU Baseball and Football - also like to watch The Saints
Enjoy MOST all kinds of music - rock, jazz, blues, classical, country, gospel, easy listening, folk - DO NOT like rap and hip-hop (although every once in a while something with a catchy rhythm comes along that enjoy.
Like to dance
Belong to Blackwater United Methodist Church (where I work). Have participated in Kairos Prison Ministry and Emmaus Community activities.
Registered Republican, consider myself a social moderate but fiscal conservative.
