Jo's Story
After high school I graduated from college in Kansas with a degree in nursing. I've been married to a fantastic man for 36 years. After living in Louisville, then North Dakota, and The Philippines I am thankful to to be settled in Olathe, Ks. My husband is a professor at our alma mater. We have 3 grown children. The one who lives close to us has two boys:4 and 19 months. Our other daughter and her family live in Long Island, NY. She also has a 19 month old. Our son and his wife live in Nashville, Tenn. I have practiced nursing in several different areas. My favorite and most recent was hospice.
My father died of a sudden massive heart attack in 2000. After that my mom moved from Ky to Kansas to be near family. Her great grandchildren adore her.

Suzie (Francis) Jones and I have remained good friends throughout the years. It is so special to us that our youngest sons are great friends -- even though they only see each other about once a year at most. Tanner was my son's best man!
My favorite high school memories would have to be Choir. I get very sentimental when I hear "The Shadow of Your Smile".
I think there were at least 9 of us from Miss West's first grade class that graduated together.
I'm looking forward to our reunion in October. I guess the older we get the more valuable our relation ships are. Plus at reunions we tend to think of ourselves as we used to be --- we have nothing to prove about ourselves -- just enjoy the company of old (or rather past) friendships and a lot of good memories!!!!!
