Jo's Story

Life Hi I went to San Jacinto then to Sam Houston,I quit in 1964 to have a baby,wasn't cool to have babies and go to school then.I married in 64 and we had another child in 68 and divorced in 68.I had moved to Ok and married again in 69,had another child 71,this lasted until 73,never was good at making choices.I met a wild child in 74 with 4 little boys.He never promised me a rose garden but said life would never be dull.We combined his four boys with my three boys moved to Kansas.Everybody thought we were crazy including us.Wehave a beautiful daughter.Evidently we made the right choice since we've been togather ever since.Life has been interresting.He's been a truckdriver.I raised our kids,did office work,drove feed truck,manag...Expand for more
ed a convience store,waited tables,and did daycare.In 92 after all the kids were gone,I went on the road with my husband and I learned to drive a big rig.I saw all the lower 48 states and bumped Mexico and Canada.I decided to retire in 2003 for the birth of our daughters child.She has my heart and soul so I decided to do nursing.I have nine kids as we adopted my husbands neice from his first marriage,thirty six grandkids,and 9 great grandkids.Needless to say I don't have alot of spare time.Would love to hear from anybody that I went to school with.I ran with Glenda Elliot(Osborne)Ann Owens(Campbell or Thomas)I remember a LeeAnn,Beverly,Rhonda,Penny Prutsman and I have a visual memory of alot more but can't put a name to the face.
