Joan's Story
I'm a retired Surgical Technician. I scrubbed in surgery for more than 20 years. Before that, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. Retirement is nice but I miss being in the OR. I have 3 sons, Jaime, Kevin, and Russell, and 2 grandchildren, Taylor and Molly. They are the loves of my life.
My (2nd) husband, Danny, is from England. I met him in London. We just celebrated our 20th anniversary July 8th. We live in Kingston, New Hampshire. I love gardening and have beautiful gardens on our land.

heting, sewing, and preparing gourmet meals for family and friends. I also do charity work whenever I can. While I was working at the hospital, I was mentoring boys from the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem. For example, I would take one of them into Boston to the North End for the Italian Feast, sometimes went shopping to get them clothes or other needs, or just get them out of the home for the day.
I am passionate about the Marine Corp Toys 4 Tots Drive and take donations for them every year at Christmas.
We have two cats, Tippy and Bandit. ;)
