Joan's Story
A full 45 yrs of doing. I am an artist educator currently teach at the Art Institute of Charlotte. I also restore and preserve art, (paintings and prints).You can see some of my artwork at charlotteartists.com.
I keep active dancing, hiking, travel, and learning just about whatever comes across my table. My husband Marty and I moved to Pineville (Charlotte) NC 4 years ago. He passed away February 2007. We lived in Indianola, Iowa for the majority of our married life. In Iowa I was very entrenched in local and church affairs. Our 3 children Christ...Expand for more
ina, Lisa and Michael are scattered. following Bishops I went to FIT in NYC. In Iowa I went for a second degree in Art at Simpson College (small school)and then to Iowa State where I completed my masters and taught part time. I called my self a NEW-IOWAN, as New York is never far from my thoughts. My parents still live in Queens, same house. I enjoy going home!
I travel a great deal for the dance of Argentine tango. If any of you are bitten by the dance let me know! We may see each other sooner rather than later!
