Joan's Story
Life After graduation I attended Auburn University. There I met and married Philip Riley in 1965, we spent 3 years in Europe while he was an officer in the US Army. We returned to Myrtle Beach, SC where we lived until 1985 then moved to Sarasota, FL. I have one daughter who blessed me with three beautiful grand daughters. ivor. I am divorced and living in Huntsvile, AL with my daughter,and my cats. Earlier this year I had cancer surgery again with very good results. I totaly believe that at this age an annual check-up is very important. If I had not had annual exams, this cancer would not have been caught in the earliest stage. I have been working at nights Huntsville Hospital for 17 years as a unit secretary. Working 7P-7A is the best shift I really enjoy my job.
