Joan's Story
Since graduation, I received my Bachelor's of Music Therapy from Shenandoah College & Conservatory in Winchester, VA. With my degree, I taught emotionally disturbed high school music for 5 years in Prince George's County, MD.
I married a Marine I met in a bar one night. We've been married now for over 14 years! I have 2 handsome boys - Trent (10) and Derek (9). I lived in Northern VA for 14 years before my husband's job with the Secret Service relocated us to Georgia.

actually do live on an island! It's gorgeous and never snows. We are here to stay.
I am heavily involved in the boys' school PTA and currently holding the position of President-Elect. I have 23 piano, voice & music therapy students I see weeekly in our home. Between travel soccer for Derek and tennis for Trent, Mom's chauffeur business in always busy!
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Especially those who couldn't make the 10th! I was enormous at that event - I was about 7 months pregnant with Trent!
