Joan's Story
Life
I went to L.B. City College for 2 years after leaving L.B. Poly in 1955. I then went to work for General Telephone Co. It became GTE of Calif. I worked for GTE until I retired in 1988..... My husband and I travel a lot.... We belong to the Orange Cty Model A Club...... We do not have a Model A.... But still belong to the Club..... There are a lot of great People and awesome Model A's....We take a lot of tours....and are able to go places we would not be able to go if not for the club...
We love to go to Palm Springs, Calif. so much to do, love shopping and the Spa Casino. The weather is sometimes too hot and sometimes too cold. Ha Ha but we go anyway. Its a fun place ...Expand for more
to be and we meet up with friends for dinner from other cities and enjoy our visits..
We also have been going to Laughlin, Nevada and stay at the Aquarius Casino. (we get comped) yessssss
Its always fun to go there, we enjoy seeing my cousin and her husband who live in Bullhead City, Ariz.
Time is marching on..... and we are so blessed to be able to march with it, for now anyway. Ha Ha..
Planning a cruise in Oct. our next favorite thing to do. We love criuises... we don't care where we go as long as we can be on a ship. Ha Ha
