Joan's Story

Life I've been married to Doug for 19 years (yikes!) and we have 2 kids...Charlie is 18 and Kelli is 14. We also have 2 dogs, a cat, a gecko and an aquarium full of fish. p in Human Services. Started with NC Div. of Voc. Rehab. in 1991, got my Master's in 2003 and now I'm a regional specialist covering a territory from Monroe to Boone. We live in Charlotte and I'm fortunate to work just 2 miles from home (except when I travel). My husband is the "stay at home" parent which works out great for our kids. I still keep in touch with Cindy Styers (Heydary) and Lenne Green.
