Joan's Story
I would hope everyone remembers me as someone they wanted to spend time with. Hoping I was a true friend to all. I think I tried to be but not sure I succeeded.
I always wanted to be successful and make a difference. I think I did. I fell comfortable with where I am in my life and look back with no real regrets.
My favorite thing to do when I am about to explode would be to head to the beach to listen to the waves and clear my head. I have been very privileged to always live near water so have been able to do this often.
In school I was never the daredevil type (and I am sure any of you who remember who I am...Expand for more
would agree) .. so having a cigarette or rolling my uniform skirt up right after leaving school on the way to the bus stop would have to be it.
Thinking about who might be my hero ... I have many ... foremost in my mind would be my Dad... he tought me to love life and always do my best and to treat everyone equally mostly to be a friend to all ... and then my Mom comes to mind .. she tought me to always laugh out loud and to make as many memories as I could while having a sense of humor ...
this story will be continued for sure .. there is a lot more to add. So until then I hope you learned something about me.
