Joan's Story

Who am I really? I'm a woman, who in spite of some difficulties along the way leads a happy life. My life is good, very good. I'm the mother of a pretty neat kid - smart, funny, athletic and kind. I'm a teacher of young children with autism. They are wonderfully special little people, even when they wear me out! Since high school I've been married...Expand for more
and divorced, widowed, lost both my parents and a couple of very dear friends, but I'm still standing and standing stronger and more content with my life than ever. Several people from high school have told me that they remember me as always smiling or laughing and that hasn't changed. I have much to smile about, much to laugh about and I always will.
