Joan's Story

After graduation I went to work at Western Electric in Kearny, NJ doing secretarial work. Got married to Robert Dooley and after 6 1/2 years I left for a maternity leave. I had two children, Michele & Jason. Later when they got older, I went back to work for the Hazlet NJ school system. I live in Hazlet & I just retired after 25 years as the secretary to the principal of our middle school. My husband passed six years ago (we were married for 38 years), and I...Expand for more
have two grandchildren Ryan (9) and Justin (5) who are the loves of my life. My husband loved antique cars and we had many over our married life. To this day, I still have a 1955 tourquoise & white Chevy Belair in mint condition. I love to cruise (boats that is), and just returned from the Disney Magic with my grandchildren. I have been on 39 cruises!!! Yes, I said 39! I love to travel and have two more planned for this year. You can find me on facebook.
