Joan's Story
My path has taken me in many directions over the years since leaving Tiverton High. I was married twice and divorced twice, having last been married in 1982. I have two wonderful daughters of whom I am most proud. My older daughter, Haley, is 30 yrs. old and lives with her husband, Neil (who just returned from a year in Afghanistan), in Sierra Vista, AZ. is 28 yrs. old and has a 3 yr. old daughter, Pearl. I have been truly blessed.
Both my parents have passed away and I just sold their home in Tiverton. I am currently living in Fall River, MA and work for a real estate attorney.
I finished my bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in 1988 and worked for nine years as a teacher in the Tiverton school system. That's something I never envisioned doing back in '75.
Life has been very interesting and extremely rewarding so far.
