Joan's Story
My, how 50 years passes in a blink! I've gone from a high school grad to senior citizen living at Rossmoor in Walnut Creek. I am president of the car club (classic, antique, etc) here and VP of the Republican Club and Publicity Chair of the Women's Golf Club. I retired from my 30 year stint as head of an executive search research corp I founded in 1982. nd 8 then moved to Tahoma (Lake Tahoe) where we raised the children. After they went off to college we moved back to the SF Bay area and spent the last 17 yrs in Alamo. I was married 47 years--husband passed away in 2012--and have two children and four grandchildren who luckily live nearby. We've done a lot of skiing and traveling (I still do) and I go to every Ells gathering I can-- haven't missed a reunion in years. I'm a lucky person and look forward to connecting with more classmates. There, that's it in a nutshell!
