Life
Life is rich with work, kids, marriage, and friendship. I continue to co-direct the Doctoral Program at the Smith School for Social Work, and began a post Masters Program in End of Life Care six years ago that has now trained over 125 social workers. I've written three books, raised two boys ( one of whom is at Goucher; the other of whom is off to Vassar), loved living in this pro...Expand for more
gressive and beautiful community, been lucky to stay married to someone who is a friend, colleague, co-parent and partner. My job affords a ton of travel as our students are all over the country and world, and I have been doing a lot of speaking around the country and abroad, so I have the benefits of small town academic life and of the world close by.
No complaints, at all. Not a one.
