Joan's Story
I was a member of the Glee Club,an art major..and many other interests.I was Joan Fitzgerald for 18 years, Joan Geyer for 34 yeare, and then Joan Warrix..besides having 5 kids, I've been working with computers since 1967, eventually as a systems programmer/analyst.
I like to sing, am a former Sweet Adeline, play piano and organ.
I like old TV shows, which I can watch on my computer. Also series like Babylon 5, deep space 9, Stargate SG1 and Andromeda, just to name a few.
I like to capture shows from TV or Tapes, and convert the to DVD's. Also convert records to CD's, making necessary corrections and enhancements. I am now learning how to take pictures with my Fu...Expand for more

It's an interesting life, and after 75 years, it still is.
I have always been interested in astronomy, had a 6 inch reflector telescope. I have been studing the sun and its connection to earthquakes for over 50 years. the computer sites give me access like I never dreamed possible.
I was a member of CATOE for many years, and learned how to rebuild pipe organs, as well as playing them. My ex and I make an outstanding recording ot the organ at the old ELM's roller rink.
I also had a 3rd class radiotelephone license. Move from the area before I could take the exam for 1st class.
Oh yes, I also studied electronics, mad my own test equipment, radios, etc.
