Joan's Story
I was a little shy then, but I really liked high school. Also, I really enjoyed getting out too. I went to DeAnza College and married my husband a year later. Scott and I will celebrate our 37 year anniversary in 2008 with a trip to Maui. We had 4 children: 2 boys, a girl and another boy. And for the last 10 years we've been rearing our granddaughter, who is almost 14.
I became a Christian while I was in junior high at Kennedy and in 1974, when I began to meet with the church in San Jose, my experience became even more precious and enjoyable to me. Our second son, Jeremy was killed in a car accident in 2004 on the day he returned from his honeymoon. It was beyond tragic, I'm pretty sure that if I didn't know the truth in the Bible, have an intimate and affectionate relationship with the Lord, and that members of the body of Christ ministered to us during that time...Expand for more
that I couldn't have ever recovered. Thankfully we gained much from the experience. I don't mind talking about it and you are welcome to call me. You can find my number on my website listed below.
After marriage didn't go back to college for 14 years, eventually graduating with an AA degree in Behavioral Science and from San Jose State a BA in Communication Studies. I taught at SJSU for a year while I was working on my Masters degree. Instead of completing it, I became a Real Estate Broker and work in Santa Cruz, North Montery, and Santa Clara Counties. If anyone needs to buy or sell real estate call me. I'll personally help you or find an experienced and reliable Realtor who will help you in your area. My website is JoanBodeman.com
I'm sorry that my memories of high school friends have faded, but I would appreciate hearing from classmates that may remember me.
