After graduation, Jack went into the Navy and my dream of being an interior decorator was put on hold until I could afford the education.( it never happened). Jack and I got married in June 1954 and we set out to make a million dollars. The first few years were filled with raising kids and working to build our future. orn son and bought a mom and pop grocery store in Portageville. We progressively moved ever onward and upward until we bought a large Bells Supermarket in Dansville. It was a lot of work and long hours, but it provided us with a good life that included several foreign trips and of course college for our kids. When we retired, we moved to Florida and have been enjoying the relaxed life ever since.
