Note from Joan After graduating from Valley high school in 1960, I went on to get my bachelors degree at the University of New Mexico. I taught two years in Alamosa Colorado, after which I taught six years in Patterson California. After California I moved back to Albuquerque for a few years and sold Indian jewelry with my father. life Allen Kenley who passed away in 2010. I also got my Masters degree in education from Lubbock Christian University. I loved teaching but was ready to retire and enjoy life a little bit more. I have traveled practically all over the world and I'm looking forward to a Viking River cruise in April.I moved back to Albuquerque two years ago. And I am enjoying the view of the beautiful Sandia Mountains. It's good to be home.
