Joann's Story
I was married my senior year of high school to my best friend. We have known one another since we were 5 and 6 years old and were neighbors. As of December 30th, we will celebrate our 46th anniversary.
Rick and I were blessed with 4 biological and beautiful daughters and we adopted a son who was nearly 16 years old at the time. He is now 46 years old and lives in Colorado. Our daughters live in ...Expand for more
South Carolina near us. We have 9 grandsons and 5 granddaughters, 2 granddaughters-in-law and 2 sons-in-law. Two of the grandsons have blessed us with 2 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons.
Now that we are retired, we travel as much as we can, re-enact the War of Northern Aggression, are involved in church work and many other organizations. Other than that, we are just enjoying a good life.
