Joann's Story
Life
During the last year life has been moving fast and furious! I became a Grandmother for the second time. A real joy for our family, we now have two grandsons from our daughter. Our three year old is named ÂColin and our four month old is named ÂMichael. My daughter  Johanna is in Nursing School and works at Fairfax Hospital (Virginia) in the Cardiac Unit. My son will be ready to graduate college in May, and will just start his adventure in life.
My husband and I love to travel and are setting our sights on some new tours. We are planners and adventurers, new and exotic places are welcome.

for a nonprofit as the Deputy Director. It is busy and keeps me out of trouble. Our programs include a Homeless Shelter, Emergency Assistance Program, Child Care Center, Two Domestic Violence Safe Houses & support programs, a Transitional Housing Program and a 24 hour Hot Line. I write all the grants, and run the fundraisers and special events. I eat, sleep and dream this job.
My husband and I are both active in our community and church; we love growing Âold together, but feel half our age. I hit 50 this year and we had our 25th anniversary. It feels like only yesterday we met. We have been very blessed in our life!
