Joann's Story
Life
It's a long way from San Leandro High, but I wouldn't trade the 62 years of my life for anything!
I didn't finish high school, but married at 16 and had my wonderful daughter Cindi at 17. Got divorced, went back to school and married again at 21. Had a son, Josh. Finished high school and 2 years of college, divorced again after 17 years.
I moved to Utah, got a job at Frito-Lay, where I retired in 2004. I finally found my "soulmate" and married again 4 years ago and moved to Arizona.
I love my life, I am happy, my children are grown and successful. I have 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson!
My years in San Leandro and at SLH were the best growing up...Expand for more
years anyone could ask for! I miss lots of old friends, and always wonder what happened to some of them, Bobby Cambra, Gary Arnold, Jim Pursley, Dave Monetti, Jill Wilson, Josephine Montgomery, Carmen Sousa, Barbara Rosenfeld, Barbara Cutter.
I will never forget the great teachers we had, or our football games and dances, I'm just glad there are no more "finals or term papers"!

College
I started at Business College for 1 year, then went on to the University of Utah where I majored in Psychology. My main interest is in Organizational Psychology. I completed an A/A and am still working on my B/A.
