Joann's Story
Life
After college, I worked for the treasurer of General Motors. I moved to Aspen, Colorado in 1968 and lived in the Aspen area until August, 2005. I married a local guy and had a daughter who is now 27 and lives in Denver. I had a very fulfilling life in the Rocky Mountains. I loved it there, but I missed living near water. I played rugby and soccer for several years, raced sports cars (SCCA, Class C), got a hot-air balloon license and taught karate for 10 years. It was a really interesting life out in Aspen. to the water. I moved to Clearwater, Florida (Gulf coast, by Tampa) and I live right on Tampa Bay. Looking at the water every day is very soothing. I have a calico cat, Merlin who lives with me. I work for a major developer in land acquisitions. It's really a challenging job! I have traveled a lot and look forward to doing even more. I love to fish and would do it every day if I could. It certainly is amazing how differently our lives turned out from what we thought.

Miss Scudlow. She made English so interesting! Besides, she wasn't a nun!
