Life
Grad from UMASS 81 with BS in Bio & Psy. Worked as Research Assistant in both but mainly in Bio. Worked in Boston then Cambridge, then went into marketing for a biotech firm. Married in 83 and have 2 children, boy 12 and girl 10. Been full time "soccer" mom since 1992. Had 21st anniv. and have mother (80) still in Mission Hill. We are big Celtic's fans & come down for the games-season tix's. I'm down in the area for family & friends. Live 5 miles over border. 30 yr reunion next yr. any plans? 5 yrs was too soon. Were there others? hope all 75'er are well.

ston, Harbor campus was a commuter school, so no dorm life. Commuted by MBTA. Average age was higher overall but good learming environment. Was lost in the beginning, but found nmy way. got job on campus and found direction to aim for. Mixed ages and graduation dates so hard to make friends. took 6 yrs. to grad but had a double major and was hired at graduation. Worked there for 2.5 yrs on staff then left for Bio job in Boston. Great education, Can't knock state schools. Learned more & knew more than many non-state grads I worked with. wouldn't change too much. Wish they had had dorms.
