Joanne's Story

I got re-married in 1991 after a very painful divorce. I was a single mother with 2 small children. My faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ is what kept me during being single again for 5 years. The Lord brought into my life a Christian man with 2 sons from a previous marriage. We were married in 1991 and then blended our two families together, which was not an easy task. But, with the help of the Lord we succeeded....Expand for more
We both had a son together, who is now almost 17 years old and is a true blessing to our whole family. My husband and I are actively involved in Jail and Prison Ministry (Freebird Outreach Ministry). We are so blessed and humbled to see how the Lord can use us to bring a message of hope and encouragement to those who are incarcerated and struggling in life. This is our passion in life -- to see God restore broken lives!
