Diagnoses Autism, well it's not as bad as it could be, and he is not where he used to be, but still not where he needs to be. We have a few more test to take but I have been very pro active in getting the ball rollin for him to get help. We just have to let time tell us how it's going to be. I think the earlier you are in recoignizing something is not right and getting help the better off your family will be. Asking for help is sometimes hard but you just have to do it. From one mothers heart to yours If your infant by four months does not respond to your voice, or show signs of trying to mimic or does not seam to give any facial expriessions, you have every right to think something is wrong. They should be cooing, and responding to your voice, looking for you if they hear you from a cross the room. giggiling when you are face to face doing your baby talk. If you have ever sat with your baby on your bed for an hour trying to get him/her (around 4mos) to smile and they just won't coo, or giggle at your ridiculas face.
