Joanne's Story
Teaching at Natick High School for 30 years seems like a very long time; however, the time has flown and I must say I enjoy getting up and going to work each and every day. My son Scott graduated from Natick High in 2007. He is a member of the Army National Guard and will serve in Afghanistan 10/2010 to 7/2010. He has worked at Papa Gino's in Natick for the past four years. My daughter Kelly graduated in 2006 from Douglas High School, our hometown and graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA May 2010. . is in Physics and she will teach in South Korea for a year beginning June 12, 2010. Ninth grade British Literature is my favorite course to teach at Natick High. My own kids and I have spent many summers at the summer school program at Natick. Kelly has taught photography while I tutor students in English lit and Powerpoint. Scott took many different courses over the years and been a police explorer for the Town of Natick. My husband, Ken, is the love of my life and is retired from IBM, Digital, and Prime. I visit Hopedale often as my mom and is still at Bancroft Park.
