Joanne's Story
Life
After teaching school in Ontario for 5 years I sold my sports car, bought a 10 speed bike and hopped on a train and headed out west. Calgary has been my home for 40 years now. I have been a business owner for 38 years and still love it! We graduated from plants in the work place and lobbies to incredible Living Walls. We have been internationally recognized for many of our projects.

siness as an Accessibility Strategist. My husband retired from Hockey Canada after 18 years and some incredible life experiences such as World Championship Gold medal games in Europe and fabulous Olympic experiences in Salt Lake, Torino and Vancouver. Playing euchre in our grade 13 common room inspired me to progress to bridge- which I love. I have left the tennis behind but am enjoying Pickleball and I am loving golf as we spend our winters in Palm Desert, California. I still get to travel quite a bit with my business and I love it.
