Joanne's Story
Currently my life consists of:
Being a grandmother.
Selling Avon products.
Inspirational and/or informative posts on facebook.
Not so often now:
Representational Life Portrait artist. Your life is a work of art! I illustrate in pencil, meaningful and milestone events of your life.
Powerpoint productions.
Creating business cards, logos, greeting cards and various other craft items.
Still dabbling with pulling together a cook book with some easy but unique recipes.
As always:
My son and I are still struggling with his disability. Great progress is being made!
I've completed 2 training classes and have received a cert...Expand for more
ificate as a Community Supports Navigator from The Sherlock Ctr. at RIC, and one in Employment Services by Rhode to Independence. At least once a week there's either a conference, panel discussion, mini trainings, coalition, committee meetings and Board meetings to attend, or just volunteering at Parent Support Network of RI.
Wishes:
To again own my own home so I can:
1. fire up my kiln and work on my ceramics and porcelain dolls!
2. grow a vegetable garden and plant things in the ground, not in little pots on window sills!
Regrets:
Wish I'd have gone to California to get my Master's Degree after graduating from RIC in '78.
