Joanne's Story

Life It is hard to believe it has been almost 30 years since graduation. I have 2 grown girls. My youngest just graduated from Penn State with distinguished honors and is currently employed as a finacial analyst and will continue her schooling in September to get her masters degree. My oldest daughter is a junior at Moore College of Art and works part time painting muriels for the city of Philadelphia as well as painting muriels for private clients. My husband is a executive chef at the Pincrest Country Club in Lansdale PA. My career is that I am a Pet Dog Trainer. I love my job because I have loved being around animals. has changed much since 1977 but I would not have wanted it any other way. Hello to all you fellow graduates. Joanne Workplace After graduation I became a banquet waitress which was great job with great benefits. I got to meet alot of celeberties. I worked at Wyndham Franklin Plaza fron 1993 to 2003. When I left I was the assistant banquet manager. Due to the extreme physical demands of the job and a bad back from all the years of carrying trays I could no longer do the job. I decided to get into something that had to do with animals. I found a job with pet training and I am still with it. I make my own hours and I do not have to deal with the corporate world. It makes a difference in your everyday life if you really enjoy your job.
