Joanne's Story
After graduating from Springbrook, I attended High Point College, got married in 1970, and moved to Michigan a year later. Our son, Charlie, and daughter, Carolyn, completed our family and I was fortunate to be able to stay home with them. r involved traveling and customer entertaining which gave us many opportunities to visit fascinating cities and resorts. My husband passed away in 2006, and now I spend my time enjoying my friends, in Chicago with Charlie's family, and in Charlotte, NC with Carolyn who is getting married this fall. I have stayed in touch with Alison Bartlett Davis and Helenann Hooser Klukowski from my Springbrook days.
